Hello everyone! One of my goals on my list of things to do over summer was to make a blog! So, here I am! Hopefully I'll be faithful and write often, but I can't promise I will. At this moment I am sitting on a couch in (glorious) air conditioning in a condo in Texas! Our family is currently on vacation in the South Padre islands! There is a beach literally out our back door! So far I have... been to SeaWorld (and saw Shamu!), visited the river walk in San Antonio (Shopping!), swam in the Gulf of Mexico, seen a jellyfish, read 3 whole books (Vixen by Jillian Larkin, Cloaked by Alex Flinn, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling), and become terribly sunburnt (ah, the woes of the fair skinned.). Today I spent the day reading on the beach with my toes in the sand! Now dad is grilling some steaks for memorial day and we're gonna hang out. Well, how was that for my first blog post? -Love and Sun, Mikaela
