Yay! My official Valentine's Day post! This post will revolve around all things romantical!

Best Romantic Books- So, recently I read three of the most fluffy books of my entire existence. I won't even name them because I am completely ashamed. Seriously, it was all stupid and plotless romance. Let's just say- one included various 80's song references and a reoccurring ABBA song. Another included crashing proms to find a guy and then dumping her best friend, and the third was all about the whole opposites attract storyline. Don't despair though. I have actually read some good romance books over the year.
One that I liked was Paisley Hanover Acts Out. It's about this popular girl who suddenly loses her popularity and is dumped into the world of theatre kids (gasp!). Though she has been trying to catch the eye of a certain soccer captain, she finds herself falling for the bad boy, who just happens to be her theatre partner. Add in a few quirky lines, a student council campaign, and an anonymous newspaper conspiratorialist and you have yourself a pretty fabulous plot full of cotton candy luv fuzz for everyone.
My next suggestion is a little deeper. If you haven't read The Perks of Being a Wallflower, you probably should. It's a very sweet novel about the confusion of high school, love, and the world around you. The narrator, Charlie, takes you on a journey of his first year of high school and how he and his newfound friends became infinite. Through his letters, Charlie leaves a little lesson for you to ponder. I'm not gonna lie, when I finished, I sat there for about five minutes wondering if I should smile, cry, or go hug some random kid.
Finally, The Secrets of my Hollywood Life. I'm pretty sure I've read this ten trillion times, but that's because the story never gets old! It's centered around soap-opera star Kaitlin Burke, a Star Wars loving, short, blonde, American sweetheart who is finally feeling burnt out. Between her evil co-star spreading rumors about her and a new movie opportunity coming up, she has no time for herself. That is until her and her best friend devise a plan to get away from it all. She decides to go experience regular high school... In disguise! She planned on the drama and trials of homework, but what she didn't plan on was falling for the hottest guy in school. Follow Kaitlin as she finds out what it's like to be a real girl and really be in love.

Three Words- Shakespeare In Love
Three More Words- Best Movie EVER!
It is the most beautiful movie in the world. You can't get much better than Gwenyth Paltrow, poetry, and Voldemort's sexy brother: Martin Luther (Okay, let me explain. So, Ralph Fiennes, who plays Voldemort, comes from a big family and they all happen to be in acting. His brother, plays Will Shakespeare in this movie. also played Martin Luther in Luther, which I found kind of funny. I ran around yelling that Luther and Voldie were bros for the next week.) Anyways, William Shakespeare is in danger of his theatre closing, on top of that he has major writers block and no muse. Well, along comes Viola, a lover of poetry and a high class lady, but she wants more than to just watch the plays, she wants to be in them. Viola dresses up as a man and sneaks in to become an actor at the Globe. Of course, Will finds out and falls truly, madly, deeply in love with her. The End.... Or is it... Watch it and find out!

Dirty Dancing- This obviously has to make the list, because nothing is more romantic than learning to dance with Patrick Swayze at a country club. Baby's summer seems boring, being stuck at a country club the whole time (tragic, I know), until she stumbles upon the staff partying it up in the back. In a strange twist of events, the  handsome dance teachers partner becomes unavailable and Baby has to step in. She learns how to dance, but along the way falls for the guy (who wouldn't).

She's the Man- I'm kind of a Shakespeare nut, so this fits my love of his plays, my love of romantic comedy, and my love of Channing Tatum. Viola (again. Viola is a character from The Twelvth Night. Viola  crossdresses as a disguise, and falls in love for the guy she's servant of.) is a normal girl, star soccer player, and soon to be debutante (as forced upon by her mother.). One day her brother decides to skip town to go to a music festival, but there's a catch. He asks her to dress up like a guy and take his place in collage. In doing it, she creates a few complicated circumstances, including falling for her roommate... Or her brothers roomate... Or whatever. It's a really funny movie with a completely unbelievable plot. But who doesn't love that?

Best Romantic Songs-
Have I mentioned that I am a Directioner?... Oh of course I have! One of my personal favorites is Truly, Madly, Deeply (did you catch he reference in my Shakespeare in Love review?). It's such a beautiful  song, I adore it. I Would, Magic, They Don't Know About Us, amd Moments are amazing too. Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer is a really sweet song also. One of my new favorites is Don't Falter by Mint Royale and Lauren Lavurne. (It's also featured in Season 7 of Doctor Who, in The Power of Three!). The rest of my lovey-dovey playlist consists of Your Song by Kate Walsh. You and I and Morning Lullabies by Ingrid Michaleson, and Art of Succicient Compliments and Valentine's Day (hehe.. It's super cute!) by Summertime's End.

Well, that concludes my epic romance post for the year (I think I should be a book reviewer for a job!)

If you know me at all, you may realize I have an addiction. I probably could not function without Nutella. I'm actually qualified to go to the Nutella Eaters Anonymous meetings. Anyways, the chocolate-y hazlenutty delicious spread is to die for! Ok... now you want me to be serious and depressing and say my family. It's true, I love my family, but I am in a good mood, so I don't entirely feel like picturing my life without them. So Nutella it is!!!

Are you serious?! You mean this person has to be real? Pshhh! Whatever. Skeeter Phelan from The Help inspires me. 1st of all, she doesn't care at all what other people think, 2nd, she is a fantastic writer, 3rd she fights racism by writing a book (what better way.) She is the coolest person ever. Though she may be fictional, she rocks my socks and inspires me.

My friend Julia. She has been my new hand to hold when things start to suck. I'm thankful for a friend like her to be there for me. The way she's inpacted me is how she brings the bright side out when my day seems like a old black and white film. All my love darling!
