Day 7 (a.k.a. Day 3... Still... I'm bored and trying to hide from company that is here... AND waiting for all of the caffeine I consumed after the freezing competition to wear off)
Harry Potter: Favorite female character and why.
Aside from , who is, of course, everyone's favorite, I like Luna Lovegood. She's way out there, and she knows it and embraces it. She won't change her ways to make her seem normal, because it's who she is. She also won't shake her beliefs when others think she's crazy (mad, loony, dotty, strange, odd, eccentric, weird, delusional, impressionable, moony... Ect. SEE, all of the words for insane are the most fun!) I also like Tonks, porque she is ... (okay, sorry, side note. For all of you non-Spanish speakers out there, porque means because... Por que (with a space) means why. So in drama club we do this warm up where we're like, ¿Por que? Porque!, over and over again. Today we kept saying por que instead of asking why and I always answered with porque! Now, back to your regularly scheduled blog post!)... an auror for crying out loud. Think of how many girls are actually in that profession in the wizarding world! Not too many! And she is a metamorphagus, which is totally awesome, and she has pink hair and is married to a werewolf... Beat that!
Disney: Favorite sidekick
There are quite a few to choose from, but the best has always been and always will be Genie from Aladdin! He's the most humorous, expressive, cheerful sidekick ever. If I had to be stuck with a character It would probably be him! Genie makes me laugh everytime I watch the movie!
Photo Challenge: Most prized posession
It's a fight between my beloved typewriter and my journals/archives. On one hand, my typewriter happens to be the coolest thing I own, and I love it, but on the other, my journals and archives hold my life! My archives hold every drawing, note, card, outstanding assignment, game of M.A.S.H, picture, poem, doodle, craft, newspaper article, poster, award, list and anything else you can think of. Anything important over the years, I have it. You may say I'm a document hoarder. They also contain every single one of my quotes from over 100s of books, movies, celebrity type people (I assure you, there are over 50 pages of pure written quotes in there.). They also house my list of amazing names, list of Greek and Roman gods, list of songs I want to put on my iPod, and a complete record of every book I've read since the summer of 2011 (I am up to 63 or so for 2012 alone). My purple journal contains all of my stories, fanfics, and poems (which are all still in progress... I may just post some on here, though I vowed not to show them to anyone... but Laney, she's already read most of them! Plus she gave me the book). My green journal (which is the coolest on the outside, because it is doodled on ALL over) holds my life from the beginning of 7th grade up to December of 2011 (right after Peter Pan finished.) The black and white journal has from Peter Pan on to the end of Camp Minneboji 2012. And, finally the polka dotty one (which I got from Jill as a birthday present) is from camp on to, well, now I guess. No, I will never ever ever ever EVER let anyone see the contents of these journals, EVER (except for Laney again, cause' she's already read every single entry.) Obviously, the journals win. So, if my house was ever on fire, I would be lugging around 2 huge binders and four journals and people would be like "She NEEDS to sort out her priorities!"
Today I learned that I get a chronic case of the shivers when I'm cold and that I could be a archivist in the Smithsonian (NEW DREAM JOB!). I also learned that english breakfast tea is really good with honey and cream, and that caffine really does affect me (despite what I may argue), and that my basement is like an ice box and I may just lose a couple of fingers to frostbite if I don't stop typing soon!
